Ella Anderson

Associate Financial Planner

When did you first become interested in Finance?

My interest in finance began while studying Financial Planning and Accounting at Liberty University, where I discovered how deeply Biblical wisdom applies to every area of life, including personal finance. During my time there, I got to serve as a peer financial coach, building meaningful relationships with fellow students while helping them navigate financial decisions. This experience introduced me to a career with the ability to combine my passion for serving others with the financial principles I was learning by coaching clients toward better financial habits grounded in Biblical stewardship.

What is your favorite part of what you do at FWP?

I love the team and environment at FWP, where there is a genuine commitment to caring for both our clients and one another. I find it rewarding to have the opportunity to serve both the Lord and others by building meaningful relationships, relieving financial stress, providing encouragement, and helping clients pursue their goals in a way that aligns with their values. Because finances can be very personal, I think it’s a blessing to be able to support clients holistically.

Do you have any unique hobbies?

I enjoy traveling (especially to the beach), staying active in the gym, and spending time with friends and family. I also love trying new restaurants and never miss an opportunity to test out an ice cream shop:)

Do you have a favorite Bible Verse or Quote?

Psalm 119:105 ~ “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ~ “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

Which one of the FWP Values means the most to you & why?

Hospitality. Financial advising is a service to others, and FWP sees it just as that. We strive to serve with genuine warmth, following the example of Jesus Christ, through self-giving and other-centered love. This is often the first and most apparent expression of our values in every action we have with others and a way to be a light in people’s lives. John 13:34-35 ~ “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
