When did you first become interested in Finance?

Early on in my career, I began reading and listening to authors such as Dave Ramsey and Larry Burkett and realized that there was a great need to help people with their finances. With my passion of building meaningful relationships with clients, I turned my focus to financial planning to make a positive, lifelong impact on the financial future of clients and their families.  Reflecting on this many years later, I’m thankful that God directed my steps to the financial planning field!

What is your favorite part of what you do at FWP?

I’m thrilled to be part of a great team at Family Wealth Partners who truly care about the financial needs of their clients! In addition, I love being able to help clients establish and achieve their life goals, along with coaching them on how to make wise financial decisions along the way.

Do you have any unique hobbies?

I love the outdoors – running, mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, camping – and thankful that my wife and kids share many of the same hobbies! I also enjoy competing in races with my German Shorthair Pointer. I’m also a proud basketball, gymnastics, and theater dad.

Hebrews 12:1-2: Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. What books can we find on your bookshelf?

Faith – The Bible. Mere Christianity (C.S. Lewis), Gaining by Losing (J.D. Greear), Ruthless Elimination of Hurry (Comer). I also enjoy apologetics books including authors Norm Geisler, Frank Turek, and J. Warner Wallace. Financial Authors: Mitch Anthony, Brad Klontz, Dave Ramsey. Others: Impossible First, Unbroken, Boys on the Boat.

Which one of the FWP Values means the most to you & why?

Passion:  Colossians 3:23 is one of my banner verses, in that whatever I do, that I work at it with all my heart, as working for the Lord and not for man. My passion comes from a grateful heart that allows me to honor God with my work, taking part in the kingdom focus of Family Wealth Partners!
